The Golisano Children’s Hospital Prom is a truly special event that brings the joy and excitement of a traditional prom experience to patients who might otherwise miss out due to hospitalization or ongoing medical care. Organized by the hospital staff, the prom offers patients and their guests an evening that centers on fun, connection, and a sense of normalcy during a challenging time. Attendees get to experience all that a traditional prom has to offer including dinner, dancing, entertainment, and prizes. On top of that, hair and makeup stylists are available beforehand to help everyone look their very best.

The lasting memories and sense of normalcy hospital prom provides to adolescent patients goes far beyond the night itself. For many, attending prom means getting to meet and engage with other teens with similar healthcare experiences. For others, the GCH prom is the only prom they will get the chance to attend.
