The Golisano Children’s Hospital Prom
The Golisano Children’s Hospital Prom is a truly special event that brings the joy and excitement of a traditional prom experience to patients who might otherwise miss out due to hospitalization or ongoing medical care. Organized by the hospital staff, the prom offers patients and their guests an evening that centers on fun, connection, and a sense of normalcy during a challenging time. Attendees get to experience all that a traditional prom has to offer including dinner, dancing, entertainment, and prizes. On top of that, hair and makeup stylists are available beforehand to help everyone look their very best.
The lasting memories and sense of normalcy hospital prom provides to adolescent patients goes far beyond the night itself. For many, attending prom means getting to meet and engage with other teens with similar healthcare experiences. For others, the GCH prom is the only prom they will get the chance to attend. Support from Uber Lawns & Landscape helps ensure that every patient who wants to participate can do so at no cost, making the experience accessible and meaningful for all.

The Spot
The Spot was founded with one simple mission in mind: to make sure that every child in our communities has what they need to succeed in school, regardless of their ability to pay. Because we know that when basic needs such as food, clothing and learning tools are not being provided, children can not focus, become embarrassed and withdraw from their peers, fall behind in their studies, etc.. The Spot exists to meet these needs, wherever the needs need to be met.
The Spot provides school supplies, clothing, shoes, personal care items and food support to children in both the Canandaigua and Victor school districts. Their work has touched thousands of children’s lives since their founding and they are just getting started. We encourage you to get involved by volunteering and/or donating, as we have found our partnership with The Spot to be one of the most fulfilling things we do!
